This was like my original Batman OTP. And reading Batgirl Year One made me fall in love with these two all over again after all this time. BYO in a nutshell:

So, I gave her green eyes because she had green eyes in that particular arc-series-thing. I like her better with green eyes, too.

I liked how Dick had figured out from the get-go who she was. I never did buy the whole "dating but not knowing their alter-ego" thing. If you are with someone, it'll be the little things that give you away (in Barbara's case with Dick, it was her freckles and they weren't even dating! He just stalked her had an adorkable schoolboy crush on her). And Dick doesn't exactly separate himself from his Robin persona.

Batgirl Year One is probably my favorite Batgirl themed series.

Glad I finally got the opportunity to finish this. I'm still on my cute fluffy kick, and the line-art for this had been sitting in my computer for a while. Yay for long weekends and no life!
